1. About Tidysite

Tidysite provides website maintenance and support services for WordPress, WooCommerce, and Ecwid websites. Services may include updates, security monitoring, backups, reporting, and technical support, depending on the selected plan.

2. Scope of services

Tidysite provides ongoing maintenance and support services as described on our website or agreed in writing.

Our services do not include:

  • New website builds

  • Major feature development

  • Custom design or functionality changes

  • Content creation or population

Any work outside the scope of your plan will be discussed and quoted separately before proceeding.

3. Client responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Ensure you have the right to grant us access to your website, hosting, and related systems

  • Maintain valid licences for themes, plugins, and third-party services where required

Tidysite is not responsible for issues caused by unlicensed, outdated, or third-party software outside our control.

4. Access and credentials

To provide services, you may be required to grant Tidysite access to:

  • WordPress admin

  • Hosting environment

  • Domain or DNS management (where applicable)

You are responsible for maintaining secure access credentials and notifying us if access should be revoked.

5. Updates and maintenance risks

While updates and maintenance significantly reduce risk, no website can be guaranteed to be error-free.

Tidysite is not liable for:

  • Issues caused by third-party plugins, themes, or hosting providers

  • Compatibility issues beyond reasonable control

  • Downtime caused by external services

We will, however, take reasonable steps to identify and resolve issues within the scope of your plan.

6. Backups and restorations

Tidysite performs regular backups as part of its services. While we take reasonable steps to ensure backups are reliable, we cannot guarantee data recovery in all circumstances.

Clients are encouraged to maintain their own independent backups where possible.

7. Fees and billing

Fees are charged according to the selected plan or agreed pricing.

  • Fees are billed monthly unless otherwise stated

  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

  • All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise

Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of services.

8. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel your plan at any time by providing written notice.

Tidysite reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:

  • Fees remain unpaid

  • These Terms are breached

  • Continued service poses a security or operational risk

No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

Tidysite shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Data loss beyond reasonable control

Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
